February 24, 2017, 4-5pm – first hour of a two hour show featuring, from the January 3rd ‘and the journey continues’ open mic reading in that monthly series, you’ll hear readings by Meg Freer, Jenny Lapp, Michael Casteels, Allison Casteels, and Ron Shore. Following those, from the November 21st Creative Writing at Queen’s event in that monthly series, a reading by Adèle Barclay from her ‘If I Were in a Cage, I’d Reach Out for You’ (Nightwood Editions, 2016).

February 17, 2017, 5-6pm – second hour of a two hour show – This is a re-creation of the show to allow a ‘fix’. This hour now features John Steffler’s Q&A and Phil Hall’s comments following his October 25th lecture in The Page Lecture annual series. Following that, you’ll hear the three not yet aired readings from the Dec 6th ‘and the journey continues’ open mic readings in that monthly series with readings by Alyssa Cooper, Eugene Cornacchia, and Bruce Kauffman.

February 17, 2017, 4-5pm – first hour of a two hour show. Note: This is a re-recreation of the show because of audio problems in the live stream that day. Please see notes below. This show features from an October 25th event, you’ll hear John Steffler’s lecture from the 2016 Page Lecture Series. It was the fifth lecture in that annual series. Phil Hall, who created it as a tribute to Joanne Page, introduced him that day. The lecture is preceded by a short poem from a dear friend, Paul Kelley. He had written it as a tribute in memory of Joanne and asked if I would read it on the show this week.

February 10, 2017, 5-6pm – second hour of a two hour show featuring, from a November 24th Novel Idea Bookstore event, you’ll hear Shalta Dicaire Fardin and Sarah Sahagian reading from and launching their new book of fiction called ‘Good Girls’ (Inanna Publications and Education Inc., 2016). Following that and back to the December 6th ‘and the journey continues’ open mic event, readings by Bob MacKenzie, Judith Popiel, and Jae Ahr.

February 10, 2017, 4-5pm – first hour of a two hour show featuring a telephone interview and reading with author Nora Gold just ahead of her reading and the Kingston launch of her latest novel, ‘The Dead Man’ (Inanna Press, 2016), at Novel Idea Bookstore this coming Thursday, Feb. 16th. Reading with her that evening t 7pm will be Ottawa’s Rona Shaffran, and Kingston’s Elizabeth Greene and Susan Olding. Following that, from the December 6th ‘and the journey continues’ open mic reading series, you’ll hear readings by JoAnn Ransberry, and Eunice Kim.
