- May 17, 2024, 5-6pm – second hour of a two hour show featuring, from an April 25th book launch/reading event at Novel Idea Bookstore, you’ll hear Chantel Lavoie reading from her own published work, Jane Macdonald reading from her work, and Meg Freer launching her new chapbook of poetry, “Still Life Waiting.”
- May 17, 2024, 4-5pm – first hour of a two hour show featuring, from an April 4th KWF event called Health for All, you’ll hear Jane Philpott in conversation about her new book, “Health for All: A Doctor’s Prescription for a Healthier Canada.”
- May 10, 2024, 5-6pm – second hour of a two hour show featuring, from the same drift/line event begun in the first hour, you’ll hear a reading by the final poet that evening, Johanna Skibsrud as she launched her new collection of poetry, “Medium.” You will then hear four songs by Emilie Steele, pulled from her solo, acoustic performance that evening.
- May 10, 2024, 4-5pm – first hour of a two hour show featuring, from the March 13th (and the second) installment of a new poetry/music series envisioned and organized by Wanda Praamsma called drift/line, you’ll hear the first two poets in the poetry portion of that event with readings by Kirsteen MacLeod, and Bruce Kauffman. The event was held at Hotel Wolfe Island.
- May 3, 2024, 5-6pm – second hour of a two hour show featuring an April 21st book launch/ reading event held at Novel Idea Bookstore, emceed by Ashley-Elizabeth Best. Billed as a National Poetry Month event, it featured Jan Conn (Peony Vertigo), Jane Munro (False Creek), and Y.S. Lee (Exit Permit).
