May 31, 2019, second hour of a two hour show, featuring and continuing with the May 7th ‘and the journey continues’ open mic reading, you’ll hear the remaining readings of the second and final round that evening: Lyle Merriam, Chantel Lavoie, Tia Lunn, Jill Glatt, Allison Chisholm, Michael Casteels, and Bruce Kauffman. Following that, I’ll air a couple of recorded poems by a Paris, France poet – Malik Ameer Crumpler, and following his poems I’ll share work from a few of the cd’s of other poet’s work I have.

May 31, 2019, 4-5pm – first hour of a two hour show featuring, from the May 7th ‘and the journey continues’ open mic reading in that monthly series, you’ll hear readings by Allison Chisholm, Michael Casteels, Judith Popiel, and Bruce Kauffman in the first round, and then from the second round – Ron Chase, Kinman, Gwen Whitford, Colleen Lyons, Quentin Kerr, Cori Mayhew, Sasha Hill, Bob Mackenzie, Meg Freer, Ken Chin, and Ky Pearce.

May 24, 2019, 4-5pm – first hour of a two hour show featuring, from an April 22nd book launch event held at Novel Idea Bookstore, you’ll hear Amy Spurway reading from her debut novel Crow, Victoria Hetherington reading from her debut novel Mooncalves, Scott Forthingham from his novel The Rest is Silence, and Tim Conley with his collection of short stories Collapsible. Then from the first round of the May 7th ‘and the journey continues’ open mic reading in that monthly series, you’ll hear readings by Ron Chase, Adan Jerreat-Poole, and Kinman.

May 10, 2019, 5-6pm – second hour of a two hour show featuring, you’ll hear the remainder of “An Evening with Kingston’s Poets Laureate” with readings by Zoe Coulter, and Kingston’s incoming Poet Laureate Jason Heroux with again musical interludes by Darrell Bryan, and concluding remarks by Danika Lochead. Following that, from an April 18th book launch event at Novel Idea Bookstore, you’ll hear Armand Garnet Ruffo reading from his latest book Treaty # (Wolsak & Wynn, 2019).

May 10, 2019, 4-5pm – first hour of a two hour show featuring, from an April 30th City of Kingston and KFPL organized poetry event to celebrate National Poetry month called “An Evening with Kingston’s Poets Laureate” and as emceed by Danika Lochead, you’ll hear readings by outgoing Poet Laureate Helen Humphreys, Ashley-Elizabeth Best, Kingston’s first Poet Laureate Eric Folsom, Ky Pearce, with piano interludes composed and performed by Darrell Bryan following each poet’s reading. The full event could not fit in this hour and continues in the next.

May 3, 2019, 5-6pm – second hour of a two hour show featuring, and about 8 minutes into it following Armand Garnet Ruffo’ segment from the first hour, from the April 2nd open mic in the ‘and the journey continues’ monthly reading series, you’ll hear readings ‘in the round’ by Matt Drabenstott, Dale Tracy, Roger Dorey, Judith Popiel, Erin Boyce, Eric Folsom, Brent Raycroft, Ron Chase, Benjamin Laughlin, Alyssa Cooper, Jennie Marshall, and Bruce Kauffman.

May 3, 2019, 4-5pm – first hour of a two hour show featuring, from an April 4th reading from the book What the Poets Are Doing at Novel Idea Bookstore, and as emceed by the book’s editor Rob Taylor, you’ll hear readings by Ben Ladouceur, Steven Heighton, and Armand Garnet Ruffo that does carry over 7 minutes into the 2nd hour..
